The weekend of september 25, 26 and 27 have participated in the first edition of Big Food in the central design of Matadero Madrid.
The Big Food grrrreat market concept born of the synergy between food + design, interaction between chefs / restaurateurs + contemporary artists, craftsman, sustainable and organic profile.
These “ephemeral couples” develop together a cover: the chefs design a cover and the container where the creators served.
Our team is formed by Gabriela our productl designer and chef Óscar Cabezas.
Óscar is a chef with experience and a very successful career with a creative and daring cuisine. It is a very professional world behind. As a culinary creator has traveled to Canada, Colombia, United States and Dominican Republic.
He has worked for La Romana in Madrid and Arzak (R & D LAB). He has lived in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris and San Sebastian. Currently he is in charge of the restaurant Teleferic in Barcelona and preparing to open its first restaurant in San Francisco (USA).
Gabriela our product designer is the creator of the successful dishes Bali, now has a line ceramic cuisine: Design à la Carte
Together they have created: Top of the New World Lamprey above Lamprey mouth.
This is “Lamprey mouth” that designed and produced by Gabriela.
Organic forms performing mouth – windy lampreys. Asked about traditional red clay and hand-applied details in white clay, ceramic bisque at 980º oven and glazed in second firing at 985 °
The little teeth protruding from the ceramic surface prevent the crispy base of the lid to soften contact with the milk of tiger found in the small bowl inside, and drink through a straw through the lid completely.
